We cannot see the wind but we know that it is there when we watch the trees blowing about or see a kite high in the sky.  Wind is important because it helps to clean the air and it’s POWER can be used to provide energy.

Jesus kept a promise he had made to his disciples to send them a special helper called the Holy Spirit.  When it came, they could not see it but they felt it’s POWER.  It caused a mighty wind to blow around the house and flames danced around them.  It made the disciples brave enough to be able to tell everyone about Jesus.

The Holy Spirit is still with us today, it helps us to tell other people about Jesus, understand the Bible, know what to do when we are not sure about something and be joyful and grateful for everything we have.

Dear God, we thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to comfort us, guide us, and live within us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
